Microbial & Chemical Control

Microbial and chemical control is the use of chemical compounds (insecticides) to reduce mosquito populations. These methods are used when other methods are unable to maintain mosquito numbers below a tolerable level, or to interupt the transmission of disease to humans or animals. The products used are very low in toxicity and are species-specific.
